FIND YOUR WHY
Motivation is the Fuel
Discipline is the Fire
That quote is enough to get anyone fired up. Though it is an accurate statement, it is not easy to always be motivated or disciplined. You want to lose weight? Awesome!! You wanna look better in a bathing suit? Me too!! Do you want to be “healthier”? What does that actually mean? These questions are most likely relevant to anyone reading this. Here is the Key! Find Your Why...?
What's Your Why...?
-
Do you want to lose weight?
-
Do you lack confidence in your skin?
-
Are you trying to keep up with your kids?
-
Do your knees hurt?
-
Do your feet hurt? Your back?
-
Do you want to be “healthier”?
-
Are you trying to come off of a medication?
-
Are you pre-diabetic?
-
Is your quality of life suffering?
-
Do you want to seek adventure?
-
Why do you want to be stronger/fit?
-
Does your job require manual labor that seems difficult?
-
Do you struggle with normal daily tasks?
-
Does your daughter have a boyfriend?? Haha.
Whatever the reason, motivation wanes. Discipline can be at times weak. You have to be able to reach down, dig deep, and remember the reason your health and fitness is a priority.
Find your "Why" and you will find your way
MY WHY
I am a man created by God to lead, support, love, and protect my family (which happens to be 5 females). I train to be strong and to be fit. My priority is to be more than able to protect my girls. I need to have a body that is equipped to go the distance. God has called me to a life-long task of leading and supporting this ministry. My family is and always will be most important. Not to mention, I can’t wait to be in the yard with teenage girls playing lacrosse, soccer, softball, and whatever else they decide to dabble in. I need to be the best version of myself so I can give the most!!! Giving my best back to God and giving the best back to these ladies in my life is my highest priority. They are worth it!
