Welcome to the Rise Up Blog
This blog will be always be focused on Integrating Faith, Fitness, Nutrition, and an Unbreakable Mindset
I’m Brandon. I’ve been a man on fire and a man stagnant in the monotonous cycle of life. There is no doubt my purpose in life is to love and serve God, represent Jesus, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit with my every decision. He calls us to love people because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). My mission is to transform the lives of men and elevate the fullness of life through fitness and nutrition, develop an unshakable mindset with an unwavering pursuit of walking in step with the Holy Spirit.

Holistic Living
Holistic living. Let's talk about what that means for a moment. To me, it means seeing ALL of life as connected. I believe God has a hand and a purpose in EVERYTHING. Life is packed with things that mean so much to all of us. We all have different priorities, different directions, and dynamics that pull us one direction or another. Rise Up is more than a program or a website. For so long, I have felt God calling me to come out of this mundane, complacent mediocre lifestyle. His desire for us has always been for SO much more.
Mindset and Attitude
R- Resolve. A whole-hearted commitment to a plan of action
I- Integrate. Holistic living in action. This is the combination of our faith, our fitness, nutrition, our attitude and approach to life.
S- Synergize. An agreement that 2 people form a relationship to produce a combined result greater than that done alone.
E- Elevate. Elevate your life above mediocrity and complacency. Live for More.
Trying vs. Training
Trying is an attempt to change with minimal commitment
Training is a whole hearted commitment to achieve a specific result or outcome
We have all tried to do better, be better, lose weight, gain muscle, be a better husband, a better dad, and a good man. Rise Up is about answering those calls. Life requires a constant rebalancing of our time, our focus, our energy, and our efforts.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 says this, "If those who compete at sport go into strict training in order to achieve something that 'will not last', how much more should we go into strict training in our moral and spiritual life in order to get a crown that will last forever. Paul is saying " I don't know about you, but I'm running for the finish line. I'm giving it everything I've got. No sloppy living for me! I'm staying alert and in top condition
Faith. Fitness. Training. Nutrition. Mindset
Every workout, every meal, every conversation with your wife and at work, every action and thought carry weight. They shape our reality and direction in life. Going to the gym isn't a disconnected act. It is a vital part of who we are and the mission God has created us to pursue. God has not accidentally wired us this way. He created us to Rise Up and lead our families, love people, and point them to Jesus. We are called to be strong, yet humble. We are to lead by example and with love, not demand respect and correct harshly. Be warriors, not worriers.
